Non sense!

Hi there, me back with some junk [as usual]. Just have a look at the photo attached, yes its the same which we see daily and try to ignore, one fine day since i was stuck at some signal, I used my 6300 to take this one specially for this post.

Now whats wrong with these ppl, I have been thinking about this post or rather about this issue from past 3 months, never got time to write and i feel today its the right time. Daily on the road side we see such kind of vinyl banners, containing some 30 + photos embedded using photo shop spoiling the beauty of the city. You can see such photos every where , nowadays there is no reason left for them to affix all of their photos and just place it where ever they want.

The above photo is kept wishing birthday of some idiot, and his fan following. I have seen such kind of vinyl boardings just containing some 40+ photos and all of them placed tightly in a single frame. The reason for keeping such kind of boardings is as pathetic as the frame itself, some of the examples are wishing birthday, or wishing for the completion of one year in the party, or some group of idiots doing some poooja or some ppl for distribution of cloths to poor ppl.

The reason might be noble one , but my question is why do we need such big posters and that too containing so may photos. If you are trying to wish some one why cant you do it personally or even if you want to celebrate go and distribute sweet or whatever to poor ppl , but why to spend some thousands of money to spoil the nature. It looks so ugly and these posters lie there for months together even thought the occasion lasts for one day.

I have seen hell lot such boardings and every time i see them , i feel very much angry and my blood boils . Why the hell should i watch a big boarding containing photos of hundreds of idiots of different sizes and shapes, and that too at traffic signals, Nowadays I have controlled my anger as i cant do anything about , so thought i will crib here and i am done with it. If you are one among those hundred parties or group of ppl celebrating birthday of someone please try avoiding such a nonsense activity of placing a big vinyl banner with so many photos . Please we can do lot of things rather than wasting money on this and spoiling nature. :)


PS: All my anger got decreased even i was feeling happy when i was painting black on the faces :) . I pity the graphic designer who does this daily as a part of his job. poor chap .

Hi all,

Once again I proved that in my blog if i name a post as Part I , I will make sure that the next part wont appear here . :) I dont think i will be able to write Final Count down Part II as its really very late to go back to Part I feeling and continue that. ... :) Thanks to Shreesh , Harish Shande , SkI , Rolls and Dons and Scissors and others for making my stay in my old company a memorable one.

Now today after a long time Sandesh had updated his blog so read that one . Chetan has converted his blog into a photoblog. When i went to Shande's blog i saw a link to my blog, then i realized i used to crib about some or the other thing here. Yes this time i am not particular about any topic, so its a general drill !!!

Its been around 1.5 months I quit my job and joined a new one. Initially it took a while to adjust to new environment as i got used for "doing nothing from morning to evening " style of living.
I usually crib about something or the otherthing , it became a habit. Whenever i see anything new, First thing which my mind does is to find whats not there... When i was in my previous job I used to feel sad about not having anywork ... When i was in college i used to crib "when will this thing get over ...when am i going to join a SW company and earn thousands ..."

I think its a nature of human beings to search for things which will not be available in that environment... there is a famous quote in kannada "Iruvudellava Bittu Iradudaredege thudivude Jeevana " - I dont want to translate this to English and spoil the meaning.. Ppl can try their creativity by posting comments.

Nowadays few good things are I am getting up late, I go to office by my HondaActiva, I bought a new mobile Nokia 6300 :) I take tiffin to office, I can listen to songs on the way to office, Daily i drink Cane juice near office in the morning, Every weekend I meet my Friends , watch some crappy movies and think "i should stop wathing movies" and repeat the mistake... found some new nice friends whom i irritate daily .. started thinking that its just how we take things not how things happen... etc etc etc ... I think something wrong with me writing things in a higly boring and nonsense manner........ Before you guys call me up and ask what the hell man.... I will logoff.. next post will be on the movie which i saw 2 weeks back... Soundarya , on special request from Chetan.... :) Chetan keep wating...

Ella ok "Outsiders" Yaake!

Its been ages since i cribbed about anything here.... now i take this opportunity to crib about Kannada Music Industry. Yes its the same place where you find Sunidhi Chauhan,Udit Narayan, Sonu Nigam. Hariharan and most deadliest Kunal Ganjawala singing with special audio effects. Puzzled .... Yes now they are the core members of Kannda Film music... singing majority of the songs in Kannada.

Its not the case with only Kannada film Industry,It is the same with most of the south Indian Languages. I dont understand the major reason behind inviting the singer, who doesnt even know few words of Kannada when they take up their first song.

UditNarayan is the major culprit who has contributed majorly to south Indian Film Industry [For Music] for the past 3-4 years.

I am not blaming those Singers ,After all they are doing great job of contributing their voice throught India. But I am blaming those Idiots who hire such ppl[those who dont know that Regional Language] for their movies.

If you pick any album of recent movies , you can easily find one or two songs of Udit Narayan, or Kunal Ganjawala.

Any person,needs some time to understand new Language. Especially when these singers are invited for 1-2 songs ,they dont get much time to learn the language, so someone has to write the song in their[singer's] language or English.So here starts the problem of "lossy" conversion.

Each and every language has got its own set of words and most of the words depend on the peopl's proununciation. When these singers are ready to compile the song , It is obvious that they make mistakes. So the people who are assisting them has to take care . In most of the cases these care-takers are directors or assistant music directors , who will be concentrating more on music than lyrics[ofcourse they give importance but major priority will be on music] so there comes the problem of lossy conversion....

So we can hear lot of mistakes done by these imported singers ,which irritate a lot if you are true lover of music and especially Lyrics. Sometimes evnthough they correctly pronounce the song, they dont know where to strech or give importance , so obviously it wont sound like the way we expect to hear..... so this is another form of pollution...


Thats why i ask why to import ?
The music directors or movie producers demand for this import business for the following simple reason.... They want to use the popularity of the singer????? so silly.

We often find Music talents in some talent search shows like "Ede tumbi Haaduvenu " [ETV Kannada]. Why cant we use them instead of importing those non-Kannadiga's.

Nowadays even the quality of the lyrics is also coming down... God knows when we will get to hear pure Kannada songs in Kannada voice and music.

Here is some list of most popular songs by singers from North.
1. "MTV subbulakshmige" [ Movie: Upendra. Singer: One and only UditNarayan [with his nasal voice].
2. "Usire Usire" [ Movie: Huchcha Singer: Sonu Nigarm [Spoilt the song with his Extra effects] . Since this song was intially compiled by him, its been taken out and Rajesh Krishnan again gave his voice inorder to give naturality which was spoiled by Sonu Nigam. [Director finally realized this fact.
3. "Kunidhu kunidhu baare " - once again Udit Narayan for Mungaru Male.
4. "Neene Neene" from movie Aakash by Mr. Kunal Ganjawala.

list goes on....

I personally feel even the singers should take some time in learning the Language or they should avoid singing if they dont know that language. Music Directors should give opportunities to regional singers , which saves them huge amount of money .

Hi,

FinallyI got some time to write something [atleast for the sake].
From past few days i am not able to blog[please dont ask me the reason :( ] . I still have 3-4 posts pending. Hopefully by this weekend i will publish them.

I always used to feel that my blog is read by only few ppl who know me. Nowadays many other ppl[whom i dont know] are reading my blog. One gud thing is that they are posting their comments .
Its really a nice to know that ppl read my blog . which also inspires me to write more and more on many things. Thanks !!!!

Monday Maarningu!!!

Its once again monday morning. I got up late today !!! Actually i never wanted to get up only!!! as usual Saturday Sunday enjoyed life to some extent. Last weekend i met my childhood friend Sumanth. So tried to spend some time with him on Sunday. He came to my house and I showed my Keyboard .

Best Thing about last sunday was i met Mr. Hemanth Pai !!! My CollegeMate along with Akshay and Gautam Kini. Me Rahul and Sumanth went to Malleshwaram Adda, as usual to eat some chinese food. We saw Hemanth walking nearby so we called him and once he joined it was a great fun. We were laughing for some 1 hr because of his jokes.

After going home tried to watch Harry potter but i felt sleepy . So slept and now i am in Office and writing Blog. Which is not Ethical [according to company rules]. So will catch u later...

Part Time Jobs!!!

Hi all,

U might be thinking whats this heading . This time i just want to discuss my thoughts on part time jobs . As you all know what a part time job means. I just ask one question

What do you do on Saturday and Sundays!!! ????
At present myself i spent satuday in home doing nothing . watch a movie watch tv . On sundays i just go to meet friends watch some dabba movies [as not many good movies] thats it .

2 days i just spend it like as if there is nothing to do. Few months back i used to go to college to guide juniors for their linux and Qt projects. But now i am jobless on saturday.
Actually speaking i just feel really bugged/bored on saturday and sundays.

So i was just thinking why not a part time job which fetches me some money for my work. May be that amount will be less but if it satisfies my Petrol requirements i am happy. Atleast 1000 Rs per weekend can help me to satisfy my mobile requirements.

If you are not so much keen on earning . Earn and donate to few institutions. Here the question is not on Money . question is how can u spend time in a meaningful manner. If you dont want money , go and work as Ivolunteer organizations which tries to help ppl in fullfilling basic requirements.

Few days back i did a part-time job of data entry for NAB which is basically an institution for Blinds. One of my collegue suggested me to do that . I converted few pages of text into Digital format which laterly converted to Brail . So I really enjoyed doing it . though it was not an easy task . As i had to type some 30-40 pages. But later once i finished it . I was really happy that i was able to help ppl.

So now after guiding 3 projects also i am happy because i was able to share my knowledge. So some times i have heard my friends saying it will overload the brain and u need to relax. I dont think i am getting overloaded from my work. Anyways doing a data entry in my house is very easy compared to myself roaming around the streets of Bangalore.

I dont know from past few weeks i am not at all enjoying the weekends and i am getting feelings like Why not a part time job!!!!!!

I really feel happyt when i do something extra than something which i am already done with. I was just thinking what all i can do .. I can teach subjects like c/c++/linux/qt or atleast i can do kannada / English data entry.

Let me see another two / three weeks . If i still get bugged i will definitely try to do some part time job. If you ppl find some links where u can do a part time job please suggest me some.

Boring Weekend!!

Hi All,

From past 2-3 weeks i was not able to enjoy the weekends as one or the other work used to come and i have to finish. Finally this weekend i thought i could enjoy but saturday whole day was busy sending my brother to Airport. So only sunday left.

at 11 i started to my friend Raghu's house from there i dropped him to railway station. From there as usual decided to watch a movie. As everyone except Sandesh were busy me and sandesh decided to go for a movie. And Sandesh wanted to watch Datta and since the actor is Darshan i suggested to watch "chellata"... Whata boring movie it was.

I dont realy understand the point in making a movie where story line is really weak. I dont know how ppl watching from past 50 days. Anyways i dont want to discuss that movie here.
I know Kannada Telugu . I have seen more Telugu movies than in any other language.

Some how i feel Kannada Movies lack the sense of comedy. The old Rajkumar movies were best , even the comedy those days were awesome . I really like the comedy scenes by Narasimha Raju. But nowadays the comedy in Kannada Movie is just another Double Meaning joke. Thats why i dont like watching such scenes. I know some of you do not agree with me . But this is the place to express my feelings.

Like the way i am pointing out somebody else will point flaws in telugu movie. But i am not into Telugu or Kannada movie things. But the whole point of watching a movie .. atleast for me is Entertainment weather Kannada or Telugu. But if it missess that i hate them weather Kannada Tamil or Telugu.

Comedy by Anant Nag was also wonderful those days. But nowadays Kannada Movies lack Comedy . Hope they improve.

Well week days are going on in trainings . From two three weeks I am going through marathon trainings. May be from next week i Will be into projects.

Boro Boru!!!

Hi ,,,,

When i was in school precisely pri mary school. We had one poem in hindi ,, i dont remember its name also.. but it was about a poet missing his childhood and tells in the end ... oh childhood u were so wonderful why dont u come back again...

At that time i was in primary school so was not able to understand the meaning but now i am realising.. childhood was so wonderful.. no tension nothing.. eveythin will be taken up by the parents .... i enjoyed it... [every one enjoys it]

I think its our [human] weekeness to miss things when its not present.. we speak about college days when we are out of college and speak about primary school when we were in high school..

But one thing i observed between this life and college life is .. as a quote college life was golden life.. i dont think i will have that experience again...

I am bugged of this routine .. daily get up eat something and go to office which is 17 kms away from house in a dabba traffic jam road sit check mail read forwards tea time... after that some work and then eat something and again work .. tea and comeback in that dabba road.. and sit infront of comp chat with any body available or watch tv.... and blog something and sleep ...

weekends were okay atleast i can meet my friends and talk about our college days etc etc.... but now i was thinking .. how long this boredum...

If i get busy with work.. i dont think i will get time for blog... but even if i get busy with work .. whats there in life.... earn spend earn spend.. try to enjoy....

Sometimes my friend Sandy says" i want to go to Himalays for tapassu"... is that an idea for this problem..

Software engineers nowadays are like money making machines.. few of us work on saturday and sunday also... so whats there in life only code and debug........ ...

I am already bugged[still i have not gone that deep work] with this routine... i dont know what i will say when i really get inside the work..................

First time everythig will be good!!!

Hi all,

In our lives i have observed this fact.. take anything for that matter .. first time everything will be having thrill exitement... lemme go in detail...

I was really happy when my father bought a new comp... [my first comp] after that i have bought many comps recently bought a 64 bit .. the exitement , the joy, the happiness.. i felt during first pc was not at all there.....

They very first semester of BE all new friends,,,, new city ... new challenges.. new system of exams .. ella super... after that one by one semesters passed and finally we ended up saying "First sem was really awesome"....

The very first time i learnt to ride cycle... i dont know what u call we used to call it "waalpedal" means pedling cycle without sitting on the cycle instead putting legs inside the bar of bycycle...

the very first time i learnt playing my Keyboard.... very first time i was given a chance to ride bike....

Take anything for that matter.. First time [most of the times] will be some or the other way it would be wonderful..... [ even first time i failed in exam also was a different experience]

But i dont know.. its because of the fact that we know it... or because of the fact that it had lost interest... we dont enjoy it if we do again and again....

Now at present moment i dont have anythings which i call firsts...... may be first bug.. first crash.. first delivery......

Whatever .. so enjoy your firsts properly who knows... Second is available or not....

How about First time marriage.. divorce...... ??????

Reservations Reservations!!!

Hi All,

U all might be aware of this reservation issues. Actually i usually dont read news papers and dont like to watch News. If at all i am free i will check only the special editions because they are all more colorful and wont contain any political issues as i dont like politics and till now i have never voted in any elections.

But yesterday i read students fighting against reservation for students. so went through papers . The result of that reading is this post. Only thought i got after reading the papers is "Why these politicians Suck!!!!" . Yes

My knowledge about history is also not good but according to my knowledge , why there is special consideration for few castes is because they suffered a lot one time and they were being treated really badly. So as a result of that they get few benefits from government.

I agree they were treated really sad those days and i agree for whatever benefits etc they are getting now.. But if i think from another point of view ... only question is .. how Long???

yes how long they are going to get benefits... this is not acceptable.. because its already 55 yrs we got independence .. the ppl who suffered those times might not exist today even if they exist .. they got benefits from past 50 yrs thats not enough???

Please any one of should not feel bad because i said this... But we are all same and we are all human beings. We should be treated equally.

Okay now i dont want the government to take out the benefits.. but whatever they are getting is enough... why more... 50% is really insane. If this happens .. someday the other castes which dont get any benefits..now will have to apply for benefits...

This is the reason i dont vote .. because whoever comes as an elected member he just works for his benefit.. why the hell i should spend my precious time on going to the election booth and get a black mark on my finger....

In college we had a group , and all the group members were really enthusiastic and enjoying all the time.. whenever somebody see's a girl or talks to any new girl .. everyone used to call him in a big dragging voice .. Mr. X .. Enammma.... Samachara ... For eg. if i meet with any girl or speak to any new girl .. they used to call me Seena Enamma... [ most of the times the voice was prenominant with Mundan voice (one of our friend)]

So this time its the turn of Sandesh.. its just for joke and nothing special.. and i hope nobody considers it serious.. its just for fun..

So from past few days we are teasing sandy by sending "Sandy Enamma" sms's mails etc and for the wonder he is responding really well for those sms's..

Found My Wallet!!!!

Hi All,

You might have read my recent post "Lost my Wallet". Now i found it. I told that i lost it in my house. My Mom found my wallet in Kitchen in some box it seems, So i simply blocked my cards. One good thing is that i found my original driving Licence.My mom told she already took the money :(

Anyways. its good that i found it back.. My life is going smoother... Till monday i am free so enjoying life till that time. After that i dont get time to write blogs i guess i have so much work..

Unlimited to Limited!!!

Hi all,

Yes its party time. Let me tell u what it is , The momnet i got my airtel braodband bill i was shocked it was some 1300R.S. I have taken Airtel unlimited 128 kbps line for rs 699 + 10.2% of service charges/tax.

But one fine day i got a call from airtel saying that i am the 1/1000th customer to get this lucky call through which i get an additional offer of free calls with my landline where i need to pay extra amount of 300 Rs where all other users pay 499 for this plan, I thought since i get more free calls, i decided to go for that plan [ What a way bo make Bakra ]

today i called airtel ppl and asked abou this thing they said they dont know anything about that offer and i am charged 699+499+10.2% of tax. What the hell,

I decided to cancel the plan, but the airtel guy informed me that i cant quit the plan there is only chances of changin the plan, i thought what is this torture.

But finally he suggested a plan which says i need to pay 799+10.2 % of tax for which i get 256 kbps speed and unlimited browsing and 1GB download and upload limit.

First i asked that guy to confirm is it true that browsing is free. because in BSNL 500 plan they consider browsing also as downloading . So i asked him to transfer me to technical team but he told he himself is the technical guy and ensured that browsing is complelely free,

Since nowadays i am not much browsing nor my borther does.. so changed my plan,

So now with 256 kbps i can rock , only pain is i have to check my account in order to prevent airtel ppl from fooling me in the name of special offer.

So you guys also take care your bills, because we cant trust anybody nowadys hidden charges etc will ruin life...

One more funny incident i had already told u guys that i have lost my wallet. i had also lost one credit card and its PIN no.
When i complained about this and blocked the card .
She asked me weather i lost the pin also along with the card, i said "yes"

So she asked me to go to the police station nearby and asked me to give a complaint that i have lost the card and pin and i am not responsible for the manual transactions of this card.

First i was surprized to hear police coming between me and my card.. finally she told
according to her

Electronic transaction = purchasing anything from card swiping
Manual transaction = taking money from CreditCard ATM's with the PIn

So she said she can only block the electronic transaction it seems, so they dont have any way to block this so called Manual Transaction...

Its really hopeless system whenever u insert the card [ which is lost] they can easily find that and they can block or they can swallow the card.. but they said its not possible.

I never wanted to give any complaint and all so kept myself shut.. So if u guys find my wallet u can enjoy with my card and pin ....

So never loose card and pin otherwise u have to go to police station [ when u are getting card no police nothing but when u loose u have to do all sort of circus ]

I think in a matter of few weeks without work ... i will definitely become mad ..

This is really insane. In my life never i was like this. My last worst days were in Mathematics classess of 4th Sem [ i managed to score 90/100].

Nowadays nothing i am doing come to office check mails blogs and then play carrom which is the only source of entertainment.

So was finding nothing to do so wrote this blog next i will write about my favorite characters in movies.. one of the best is Timon and phumba of Lion King..

Hi All,

This post is dedicated to Mr.R.K.Narayan,my favorite author. Here is his photo. I dont remember exactly when i started reading his novels. But i started reading English novels with his Malgudi Novels.

In those days i tried to read English Novels but used to feel uncomfortable because of my English Knowledge. In those days i used to have a dictionary to translate the words. I tried Nancy Drew's books but got bugged with the translations so left it there only.

But i really enjoyed R.K.N's novels because the English is really simple and can be understood with my little english knowledge. But i was not able to read any of his books as it was not available in Shimoga's library[Central Library]. But got my hands on his novels when i came to Bangalore . He really created Magic in his works. U will never get bored, if u are reading it for the first time the joy cannot be expressed in words[atleast for me].

I read his "Swami and Friends" when i was in college i took it from my friend Prakash Chandra , later could not read much of his work , but once i joined job every month Salary Day i wil buy on novel. So i already read
"Vendor of Sweets" , "My Days" , "Dark Room" , "Malgudi Days" ,"Lawley Road" , "Talkative Man".

If u are an indian u will love his works. I usually get back to my childhood days when i read swamy and his friends. Basically all his works are earthy and u can feel the indian culture and his way of describing the things are wonderful.

Still i have to read "Man Eater of malgudi" , Mr.Sampath - Printer of malgudi, lots of novels left . but once u finish all u feel really sad that he is no more to create the Magic..

But u will never get bored even if u read many times.

"It was monday morning and swaminathan was reluctant to open his eyes "..... the first lines of swamy and friends. this is the feeling of everyone on monday morning....

So if u find any of his books just read it... I always quarrel with my friend Ramya that Swaminathan is far better than "Harry Potter"...

So thats all for the day...

Lost My Wallet!!!

Hi All,

I lost my wallet day before yesterday, The last time i saw , it was on refrigerator in my house god knows where it is. I lost one HSBC credit card and one HDFC debit card my Two wheeler License original and some 500 Rs. And also costly wallet which my brother brought from USA.

So blocked the cards and applied for the new ones but they only arrive after a week. Till that time i am bankrupt ....

Thank god its friday .which means two days off from office work[or othla ]

Thats all will blog on my weekend....
